Just to begin with, it is absolutely important that we remove makeup before going to bed every day. Regular cleansing, toning, and moisturizing of the skin will help it look young and fresh, and help reduce your biological age by at least ten years. Pair it up with a reasonable amount of exfoliation to slough away all the dead skin cells which pile over the new skin over time. Drink lots of water and religiously add fruits and vegetables to your diet as they help to keep your skin hydrated naturally. Also never forget to wear a sunscreen as it will prevent your skin from drying up, and getting partial tan or skin burn. Do not step out in the sun between 11 am to 3 pm as the sun rays are harshest at this time of day. However, avoiding the sun completely is not possible especially if you are a working woman. In that case, keep a water-based moisturizer hand by. Your skin may not feel dried up and parched but a good quality light bodied water-based moisturizer can help to balance out the moisture content in your skin.

Every effective beauty regimen starts with pampering the face which entails a facial scrub and a natural mask. Mix granulated sugar or coarse salt and olive oil to create a facial scrub. Apply the scrub gently on the face in a rolling circular motion. This will help to exfoliate dead skin cells off your face. Then prepare a natural mask with honey, lemon pulp, water, and clay. Clay is optional, it is only recommended for those of you who have an oily skin. Keep the mask on for fifteen minutes and then wash off the face thoroughly with lukewarm water. As you keep the mask on don’t forget to place two slices of cucumber on your eyes and relax thoroughly.
